Discover is an 8-month spiritual growth program for young
men to discover their God-given strengths, talents, gifts,
and heart passions while serving those in prison. Based out of We Care’s
headquarters in Atmore, team members are mentored and trained by our
ministry staff and given opportunity for prison visitation, friendship
evangelism and discipleship, and various service projects. Through their
experiences, Discover participants develop a closer walk with Jesus, gain
a new appreciation for His church, and are stretched beyond normal
comfort zones.
Teams are organized annually (September through May) and are open to
young men 20 years of age and older. Applications must be received by
August 15th.
