Moved to Alabama from Myerstown, PA

David is assistant chaplain in Donaldson Correctional Facility in Birmingham, AL, where he preaches, leads Bible studies, oversees activities in the Faith/Honor Dorm, ministers to bereaved inmates and those in “lock-up,” screens religious mail, and more.  Dave likes learning the names of as many inmates as possible, as well as establishing relationships with the officers.  He experiences excitement when seeing inmates hunger for spiritual nourishment.  Dave enjoys sports and reading, and together he and Veola enjoy family outings with the children.
